"Don’t wait for opportunity—create it, especially for those who have been denied it."

Born in Eastman, Georgia, but raised in Indiantown, Florida, Willie Gary is a man whose
life reads like a blueprint for success in the face of adversity. A relentless advocate for
justice, Gary transformed his humble beginnings into a career that not only elevated him

but also uplifted entire communities. After earning degrees from Shaw University and
North Carolina Central University Law School, he returned to Florida with a singular
purpose: to fight for the disenfranchised.

Gary made a name for himself as a trial lawyer, often referred to as "The Giant Killer,"
taking on some of the largest corporations in the country and winning multimillion-dollar
settlements for his clients. Cities like Stuart, West Palm Beach, and Fort Pierce felt the
direct benefits of his work, as he fought tirelessly for people who had been wronged by
big business, exposing corruption and systemic inequality.

But Gary's impact extends far beyond the courtroom. His philanthropic efforts have
poured millions into education, particularly for historically Black colleges and
universities, including his alma mater, Shaw University. Through scholarships,
educational programs, and community investments, he has uplifted countless young
Black men and women, giving them the tools they need to succeed in a world that often
stacks the odds against them.

Willie Gary’s legacy is not just about the courtroom victories—it’s about what those
victories mean for the everyday person. He taught us that justice isn’t just an abstract
concept; it’s something you have to fight for, no matter who or what stands in your way.
